The primary goal of this year’s event, which is organized by the International Graduate Academy in cooperation with the International Office and the PhD Network, is to welcome the new doctoral candidates at Halle University. At the same time we would like to give a platform to all doctoral candidates to get to know each other and to talk to their supervisors.
A special focus will be given by Professor Dr Tiffany Knight who has been awarded in 2016 a prestigious Alexander von Humboldt Professorship. She will talk about “The value of diversity in academia”.
